What we expect from our Instructors and Training Sites:
- Follow all AHA and Training Center Policies and Guidelines
- Provide quality instruction in lifesaving skills using required training materials as required
- Exemplify the AHA and Training Center Code of Ethics; which include professionalism, knowledge, neutrality, impartiality, fairness, and inclusiveness
Our tagline is #safelyteachingsafety. This encompasses providing a safe and inclusive environment in all our classes that supports each class participants ability to learn lifesaving skills. We don’t just talk about teaching Provider and Layperson Lifesaving Skills, we truly believe the skills we teach can make the difference in an emergency. We encourage instructors who share our vision and passion to join us in training more people to save lives. Our name is on every eCard issued through our Training Center, we are only as good as our instructors. We believe in supporting and encouraging each instructor to be the best at what they do.
